Review - Q+A Skincare Oat Milk Cream Cleanser & Super Food Facial Oil
I'm at the point where I've almost finished up my Q+A Oat Milk Cream Cleanser and Super Food Facial Oil so that feels like a good time to post a quick review. Q+A has been on my radar for a few years and I've previously reviewed the Grapefruit Cleansing Balm if you'd like to check it out. The highlight for me with Q+A is the good value price point and with availability at stores such as Holland & Barrett, Boots, Sainsburys and Tesco you can grab and go when you don't want to wait for online delivery.
Lets start with the Oat Milk Cream Cleanser priced at £7.50 for 125ml. To state the obvious it is the Oats that are the hero ingredient in this cleanser. You can expect soft, hydrating, thick creamy texture which feels like a perfect match for dry, reactive, sensitive skin. The instructions are to gently massage into wet skin and use a damp face cloth to remove. I think this cleanser is non-stripping and leaves my skin soft. It will remove tinted CC cream judging from my dirty face cloth. My only negative is the scent, it's a little funky, maybe a bit plasticky? Honestly, not to my personal taste but I've grown to ignore it. It's the compromise to make for the value.
I've been following up my nightly cleanse with the Super Food Facial Oil (£8.50 for 30ml). Out of all the oils that Q+A offer, Super Food feels like the correct fit for my skin. The handy skincare checklist available on their website, ticks this as calming, rejuvenating, hydrating for dry, sensitive, normal skin types. The hero ingredients are jojoba, berry derived oils and prickly pear. I would describe this facial oil as lightweight and silky in texture, absorbs well as never feels overly greasy plus hydrating as my skin feels lovely and soft by morning. This one is a keeper for me. For the price point I might argue that this facial oil is just as effective and rivals its more expensive competitors.
My opinion is Q+A Skincare offers a wide variety of products for face, body and hair so worth checking out if you are in the market for something new.
